Exhibition Fees: $1800.00 for 8 week (or less) exhibition slots, plus one-way shipping. Longer Periods are pro-rated.

NOTE: Requests for fee reduction will be considered.

Space Requirements:

  • Minimum 120 Linear Wall Feet. Venue size is variable as three pieces can be put on the floor rather than on a wall shelf.
  • Ceiling height at least 10' (Can accommodate a much large space).
  • Two 48” wall shelves or floor pedestals of appropriate size.

Scheduling

TAKE CARE is available 2010-2013. When dates are agreed on, NCAP will issue a booking contract.

 

Exhibition Fee

The exhibition fee covers the specified viewing period, with adequate additional time for installation and dismantling. A deposit of 30% of the exhibition fee is due when the institution signs a booking contract; the balance is due on the exhibition’s opening day.

 

Registration/Insurance/Shipping

All works come with installation and handling instructions and a condition report. All participating institutions are required to annotate the condition reports upon installation and de-installation. Shipping arrangements are made by the participating institution, which is responsible for incoming shipping charges. Institutions outside the continental United States must also pay customs fees as well as outgoing shipping charges to the U.S. border. Each institution covers insurance on premises.

 

Security

Security requirements include a single-use locked space and electronic security and fire-alarm systems in operation 24 hours a day.

 

Catalogues and Educational Materials

A full-color brochure and catalogue with critical essays accompanies the TAKE CARE show. NCAP will provide a limited number of complimentary catalogues to each participating venue. Additional catalogues can be purchased for resale. Each institution to provide wall and object label text.
All artists are available for lectures, panels and workshops. Institutions may arrange travel/honorariums directly with artist or through NCAP.

 

Publicity and Credit

NCAP will provide a press packet including a sample press release to each participating institution prior to the opening. Institutions are required to use the credit line and logo provided by NCAP at the entrance to the exhibition and on all public announcements, press releases, invitations, posters, signs, and other promotional material.
